By proceeding to register and post on the discussion forum, participants are agreeing to the following conditions of use and to follow them at all times. If participants do not follow these conditions, they will first be warned via email that they need to re-read and comply with the guidelines. Subsequent failure to follow guidelines may result in participants being removed from the forum, and their membership suspended or blocked.

1. All posts should be respectful and non-discriminatory.
2. Participants may be held legally responsible for the content they post
3. All material published on the forum is at the sole discretion of NSW CAG
4. A participant’s contribution may be not published if NSW CAG considers it to be:
   a. Defamatory, or otherwise unlawful, or that it violates laws regarding harassment,  
      discrimination, privacy or contempt
   b. Intentionally false or misleading
   c. An infringement of copyright
   d. Abusive or offensive, including obscenity, blasphemy, and racial vilifications
   e. Irrelevant to the topic
   f. Compromises the privacy of their self or others through including personal information  
      and contact details
   g. Seeks to endorse commercial products or activities or to solicit business
   h. Deliberate provocation of others
   i. A posting on behalf of a suspended member
   j. Posing a risk to the safety of others
5. NSW CAG reserves the right to archive and republish all contributions in any format
6. NSW CAG reserves the right to use contributions in submissions and lobbying activities. This will
   at all times be anonymous
7. Posts may remain on line indefinitely
8. Please be aware that information posted on the internet is subject to the same copyright laws
    that apply to other materials. We recommend that any quotes and ideas that are sourced from
    other places are clearly referenced.
9. Contributions to the forum will not be treated as complaints to NSW CAG. Any complaint must
    follow the NSW CAG Complaints Policy and Procedure. - see Privacy and Complaints Policy.
10. It is recommended that users have a pseudonym as their username/login. This is to ensure
     anonymity.
11. Registration may be refused if login names are inappropriate, for example:
   a. Contain offensive content
   b. Contain an obscenity
   c. May be considered as abusive
   d. Have defamatory content
   e. Are a clear copyright infringement
   f. Include brand or trade names or registered trademarks
   g. Include company or organisation names
   h. Are names of high profile or public figures
   i. Are names that promote political, religious, social or economic issues
   j. Contain discriminatory or prejudicial tones
12. NSW CAG has the sole discretion to refuse suggested login names
13. NSW CAG does keep records of user's email addresses. We do not keep records of  
    passwords.Please note that with each post, participants IP address is recorded, in the event
    that they need to be banned from this forum or their ISP contacted. This will only happen in the
    event of a major violation of this agreement.  Also note that the software places a cookie, a
    text file containing bits of information (such as participant’s username and password), in their
    browser's cache. This is only used to keep participants logged in/out. The software does not
    collect or send any other form of information to the participants computer.
14. No material that is considered spam will be approved for publication.
15. The forum is moderated by NSW CAG staff. Messages will remain hidden until approved by a
      NSW CAG staff member. NSW CAG staff will ensure that all postings are relevant and
      respectful (any discriminatory or inflammatory remarks will be rejected without explanation).
      No advertising or attachments will be allowed. Links to other sites will only be approved once
      they have been vetted by NSW CAG staff. NSW CAG staff have sole discretion to approve or
      reject posts.
16. Please note that NSW CAG does not provide individual advice or services. For information
     about mental health services in NSW, it is suggested that users contact the Mental Health
     Information Service on 1300 794 991, for users outside NSW, participants are referred to their
     telephone directory for mental health services.
17. Use of this forum is at the risk of the individual users. NSW CAG and its staff takes no  
     responsibility for any loss, distress, damage that may be directly or indirectly related to
     participation.
